Meet the Staff In Naples

Kay, Clinic Director

Native Floridian Kay is CPCI’s Clinic Director. She has been an administrator in the medical field for 33 years, most recently in OB/GYN. After seeing pregnant mothers and their babies, this grandmother of three decided that “choosing life is where it all begins!”

Fred, Director of Development

Originally from Illinois, Fred, his wife, and four children have lived in Florida for over twenty years. He is a recently retired sales representative for new technologies in the sports industry and a former school teacher.

Christine, RN, Nurse Manager

Christine is the clinic’s part-time Nurse Manager. She is a registered nurse with an additional certification in psychiatric and mental health. She began as a volunteer with CPCI in 2001, and went on to become nurse manager. Christine was instrumental in assisting with CPCI’s conversion to a medical clinic.

Chris, Administrative Assistant

Mary, ARNP (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner), is employed part time at CPCI. Her training in Ireland included midwifery, psychiatric nursing, and pediatrics. Mary has lived in Naples since 1987 and worked at Naples Community Hospital and The Willow at Naples.

Part-time Ultrasound Technologist, Karen relocated to Naples from Connecticut with her son Jeffrey, in 1990. Karen has been a Sonographer for over 18 years and is currently employed  at NCH and performs the ultrasounds for CPCI’s clients.

Meet the Staff In Fort Myers

Mary began at CPCI in 2000 as a volunteer counselor. As the Center changed to a medical clinic, Mary took over the Mommie & Me Program and added part-time Staff Accountant to her duties. Mary keeps busy raising her three small girls, grown daughter and grandson as well as coaching at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School.

Edgar is our part time Ft. Myers Ultrasound Technologist.  He has worked in Diagnostic Imaging for 18 years; and is a part-time independent contractor who also works at Naples Community Hospital.  Edgar and his family relocated from New York State to Florida in 2001 and is the proud father of six children.  He says, “My motto has always been that patient care is about caring.”

Virginia “Jenny”, R.N. Staff Nurse

Jenny is our Ft. Myers Staff Nurse.   She moved to Florida from Wisconsin 36 years ago.  Jenny met her husband here in Florida and they have four children and eight grandchildren.  She is a registered nurse who started working in Women’s & Children’s Services at Lee Memorial Health System in 1982.  Jenny came to work for CPCI at its Ft. Myers Clinic in February, 2008. 

 

June, Administrative Assistant

June is our Ft. Myers Administrative Assistant in Fort Myers.  Originally from Michigan, June migrated to Florida in 1996.  When her husband retired they moved to Florida where June then worked for 10 years as a Physical Therapy Tech in the Cape Coral area.  June is a Mother of five and a Grandmother of nine.  She feels like CPCI is her “true calling” and “It is a very rewarding position, and I am proud to be part of CPCI”. 

Associated Physician

Dr. Sergio Lagman, Medical Director was born in the Philippines; He has been practicing radiology in Naples for seven years. Originally an internal medicine specialist, he turned to radiology as it afforded him more time to spend with his family. In regards to his new position with Collier Pregnancy Center Dr. Lagman says, I have always considered the future of our country or any civilization to be the children and family life. If either is violated, it will cause the deterioration of society. It is an honor for me to serve in this capacity for an organization such as Collier Pregnancy Center."

Christine is CPCI’s Administrative Assistant to the clinic director.  A corporate paralegal from Cleveland, Ohio, Christine started with CPCI in November, 2003 and considers everyone at CPCI her extended family. She is the oldest of twelve siblings and has one grown daughter, who is pursuing graduate studies and is also a CPCI volunteer.
